Early Mother's Day!!

We are headed out of town tomorrow for Coop's Hot Shot soccer tournament in Coeur d' Alene, so we had an early Mother's Day!  I love these kids so much! They made me beautiful gifts!  :)

On the back of Emma's frame there is a list about "My Mom".

My mom is 43 years old.  (Coop Said "She's not that old, she would have a lot more grey hairs!")
My mom weighs 60 lbs.
My mom's favorite color is pink.  (She nailed that!)
My mom always says put your shoes on.
My mom cooks the best muffins.
My mom's job is a nurse.
My mom laughs when I say funny words.
My mom and I like to play.
My mom really loves watching movies.
I LOVE my mom because she plays with me. :)

In the middle of Charlie's card a flower pops out.

Charlie decorated both sides of the bag.

Emma really liked the belt she drew on herself.  :) She made sure to point that out to us.  Then she goes, "Oops I colored your hair brown and it is black."  Haha!  I love it so cute!

Coop gave me some art work that he made at school.

I love them all!

Turkey Hunting

Today Coop and Nate went out turkey hunting for Cooper's first hunt.  He's officially 10 years old see he can hunt now!  They didn't see or hear any turkeys, but they had a fun morning.  Maybe next week.... :)

We were up at 4am, which Cooper thought was an adventure within itself.  Here was our view looking out kind of south-east from Moscow Mountain.

Coop setup in our blind at our sure-fire, no way a turkey wouldn't come here, spot.

Hiking out of the sure fire spot after getting skunked.

We enjoyed seeing mountain flowers and streams.

Spring is pretty awesome.

I dared Coop to balance on the log across this little dam in the stream.
It didn't take much coercing.
He wouldn't take $10 to jump in the water though.

We took the long way home along Lenville Rd and stopped to check out a few spots.

I had to talk him into leaving he was having fun exploring.

A Genesee sign you don't see too often.  Know where it is?

Coop found a stream that dumped into the Lenville creek and thought that was the coolest thing he's seen all day -- two streams in one spot.

A final shot of Genesee spring time.

This was just an exploratory hunt to try Moscow Mountain and so I didn't know what to expect.   I was kind of hoping for a little more than nothing, maybe to at least hear a turkey but it was a fun start.

Piano recitals

In between two soccer games and the last showing of, "The Little Mermaid" the boys also had their first piano recital today.  They did very well and we are so proud of them!  Thank you Donna for all you have taught our boys!

Coeur d' Alene getaway!

Life has been incredibly busy lately. Nate's family watched the kiddos so we could get away.  It was so nice! Thanks Jean, Greg, and Nic! :)  We saw Mamma Mia in Spokane, went to the Melting Pot for dinner, stayed at Coeur d'Alene resort and got Swedish massages!  It was a very quick getaway.

Getting ready to head out.

We had great seats! Fun show!

The Melting Pot was so fun and yummy!

 View from our hotel room.

 Another view

Getting ready to go hot tubbing!

Room service for breakfast!  Yes, please!  It was amazing and something we have never done before.

 Morning spent at the spa.

The co-ed room!  It was a little awkward being in there with other couples in robes.  :)

 The ladies room.

 The flowers were so pretty!

 Such a hot man! :)

Fun waterfalls all over.  It kind of felt like we were getting married again. Nate went on his side and I on the other.  We walked out and met in the middle. The music and waterfalls were all very relaxing.

We took a walk on the boardwalk after lunch and went up over this.

People were taking rides on the planes.

 Such a beautiful view!

 The fish in the hotel!

We tried to win some money on the way home.  No luck!  :)

Home Sweet Home!  One more week off and then Megan starts in on her third quarter of nursing school, both boys are playing soccer, and Nate will be coaching Cal Ripken again which starts up here in about a week.  Emma continues to have fun at preschool and is learning so much!
