Charlie can pump himself on swing!

Yay! Charlie can pump himself on the swing all by himself now. We are so proud of him. I don't think Coop learned this early. He loves swinging with his brother now. And mom and dad only have to push Emma now. This is great!

Glacier National Park

We just got back from our adventure to Glacier National Park. It was absolutely beautiful there. We saw moose, black bears, a grizzly bear, mountain goats, ground squirrels, and deer. We camped and Megan was nervous most the time of the bears. We saw the grizzly and black bear not even 8 miles away from our camp. The first night was a little chilly, the second was much warmer. We cut the trip down a couple of days because it was rainy, wanted to make it out of there alive and we had done everything. We had a nice time. If any of you get the chance to go you should. It is so worth it and they estimate the Glaciers will be gone within the next nine years.

Stopped at an awesome park in Coeur d' Alene on the way there and on the way back. The boys also put their feet in at the lake. It was chilly. There were people swimming. Reminded us of the coast.

We saw one black bear in the park and we also went through a drive through park on the way home where the bears were right around our car. Very cool!

One of the 22 or 25 (can't remember what they said) glaciers left in the park.

Our little archeologists.

Logan Pass Visitor Center

They opened the road a week before we went. And the week before we were there, they said there was twice as much snow. Needless to say we didn't get to hike out. Look at all those people hiking out. A lot of them had their hiking sticks/ski poles.

The boys loved seeing these little buses. And most of them had the tops off. Brrrr.

Hanging out on the side of the road. On our back back they were still hanging out.

Awesome moose. Second animal we saw in the park. Emma was not a fan. She started to cry and shake and we were even in the car. She did like the bears though. :)

Roasting marshmallows.

This was a huge stuffed animal at a place we ate at. Emma was in it too, but was scared to death so we took her back off.

Silverwood Trip

We had a great day trip up to Silverwood. Cooper read 10 hrs for school and earned a free day pass. We took advantage of it. :) We enjoyed both the rides and the water park. What a great time had by all.

Coop was old enough for most rides himself without an adult.

Dad and Charlie.
Mom's turn. The boys wanted to go on this one about three times. There was not a wait, so we kept going. :)

Used to be moms favorite ride until we went on Thunder Canyon. That was the best. We got soaked. This ride has moved to number 2, but still fun.

And Charlie went with the people behind us because they wouldn't allow both kids with one adult. He did no well.

Nate loved this one.

Cooper getting daddy and Charlie wet. Coop was able to go out and come back in himself. I couldn't believe it. And was even one of the first ones back.

This one I will not be going on again.

Emma having fun.

The flowers were absolutely beautiful.

Emma started on horse.

And immediately wanted off.

On the train ride.

The butterfly ride. One of the new ones this year.

The frog ride. Another new ride.

Hells Gate State Park

Today was one of those days where we slept in until 8:30 (thank you children) and did not have enough time to get ready for church. We decided to take the kids down to the beach at Hells Gate State Park and let them play in the warm weather. We had a great time with the Stutzman's and Cousin Mike and Savanah. I did take the camera, but left it in the car. I did capture a couple with my phone. The kids had a blast. And it was quite relaxing to watch them play.

This girl doesn't want anything to do with the water, but she was happy playing in the sand. Dad did try to put her swimming suit on twice. Girls swimsuits are a little more difficult. Two straps were through one arm and dad had left the room. So we just left it off. Found a nice shady beach.

Finished the night off at some friends for dinner. What a great day! Two days of work for Nate and we are off to Glacier National Park. Exciting, nerve racking, bears, oh my......

and a couple of photos from flying kites....

And last, Coop's new lunch bag came and Charlie wanted one as well. He feels big and enjoys using it to picnic out back. :)
