Fun Filled Weekend!

We have had a busy and fun weekend!  And it is only half over!  Charlie went to spark art after school on Friday, which he is enjoying.  Cooper is walking home now!  Friday evening Coop had a 4-H bonfire.  All the kids had a blast!  Nate had a whiskey society meeting.  Boys had a slumber party with mom, so when Nate got home at midnight he had to sleep in the boys bed.  :)  Today was Coop's last soccer game.  He played really hard and scored a goal.  They lost their game by two points.  Their overall standings were 4 wins and 2 losses (I think).  He is ready for Spring soccer.  :)  They had a celebration after at Fizzari's Pizza.  Yum!  Before heading home, we went trick-or-treating downtown Lewiston.  Cooper is getting so big, he didn't want to dress up and just wore his soccer uniform.  After getting home, mom went on a fire call for a couple hours then we headed to church for the annual spaghetti dinner and carving pumpkins.  What fun!

Only one photo from bonfire. The others didn't turn out.

And Thurday Nate shot a 4X5 buck.  He was pretty excited!

A big thanks to Mark for helping him haul it out.

Emma's first field trip!!

Emma had her first field trip to Ferdinand's today!  She loved it!  She was ready to go the minute she woke up in her pajamas.  She kept saying, "Come on mom, I'm gonna miss my field trip."  Well we made it.  Her teachers are so awesome they let Emma go on the field trip with the Tues/Thurs class so I could come along.  It was a fun morning!!

On our way!

Watching them make cheese.

WSU Cheese Curds.   YUM!

Time for pumpkin pie ice cream!

It was delicious!

And dad even made it!

Playing in the leaves after getting back to preschool!

 What a fun morning!

Emma is loving preschool!

This girl is so excited to go to preschool!  She gets ready right away and loves spending time with her daddy a couple days each week.  They visit the bears often.  :)  Here are some pictures from her teachers.

And a picture of a couple of the bears they go to visit.
And moms favorite part of the day is when she picks Emma up and gets the biggest hugs ever from her!

I also wanted to thank our good friend Carly who watches the kiddos during the week while Megan attends classes/labs.  The kids love going over there to play.  And especially like days like today, when the power went out and they dismissed school.  Megan had just gotten to LCSC and Nate to Pullman.  Carly helped us out by taking the kiddos until Megan got done with classes.  Thank you Carly!

Scouting with dad for deer!

Yesterday was a beautiful Fall day!  We enjoyed getting up bright and early to go to worship and Sunday School.  Yesterday afternoon, Nate took the kiddos out to scout for deer while I went to lab to prepare for my heart/veins/arteries test on Tuesday.  :) I love playing with dead things.  I am ready!  We learned on sheep hearts, cadavers, dissected the upper part of our cat, and much more!  Here are some pictures from today (lab pictures excluded, although I do have some :)).

Getting ready for opening.  Nate played guitar this morning for opening.  Charlie was up their the whole time singing with him. :) Both boys earned a treat for telling a verse they memorized to one of the Sunday School teachers.  Charlie has been memorizing them for a while now, but today was Cooper's first time.  We were very proud of him.

Safety day on Saturday at Home Depot Day before soccer games.  Kids built fire planes.  Emma fly's hers all over making little noises.

Gearing up for Halloween! Thanks Nanni Vicki! ;)

Day off from school.  Flu shots and free redbox. :)

And the week begins again....
