Sambazon Superfood juices and smoothies!

I got selected from Mom's Meet to review Sambazon superfood juices and smoothies.  Yum!  I wasn't too sure when I bought these, but they are really good!  I found these at Albertson's.  They are organic and come in a variety of flavors.  The three flavors I got were the following: Protein-Acai berry and vanilla, Acai-Straberry and banana, and an energy drink.  Nate said, "It was really good."  We would defiantly buy these again.  The price per drink when I bought these was $2.99.

A little information on Sambazon.  They offer a wide range of fresh and organic juices, smoothies, and frozen products in a variety of delicious and exotic flavors.  Their products are made with premium quality whole food Amazon plants and fruits that deliver the highest bio-available nutrition.  Sambazon is both Organic and Fair Trade certified, supporting two million acres of the Amazon Rainforest and over 10,000 family farmers.

Cooper's first time pitching

Cooper got to pitch for the first time yesterday.  He's been working hard at it and so he was excited to finally have a chance to try it.

Here are pictures of him warming up:

He did a great job for it being his first time but his accuracy wasn't quite up to snuff yet.  We'll continue to practice and next year I have no doubt he'll be a great pitcher.  Here he is getting a strike on an older kid:

One big win while pitching, though, was when there was a runner on 3rd base and the kid tried to steal home on a wild pitch.  Coop covered home base like he was supposed to and was able to tag him out.  I believe this was there first out at home of the season.  Megan got a video of it:

Cooper was also excited to get another hit for the season:

And then after stealing 2nd and 3rd base he got hit in by Rile.

Coop has 3 more games so we hope to see him improve even more!

Hanging out at Uncle Greg's house.

Mom and dad put sweet Keiko to sleep today.  Keiko was Nate and I's first pet together.  We left Keiko with mom and dad when we moved to Genesee.  We will miss you Keiko!  Brooklyn is saying good-bye. :(

Meanwhile at home....

Coop going on forth day of fever. :(

Coop was feeling pretty good for a bit.  Yes, we got this fire started all by ourselves. :) It was freezing out.

 Yeager waiting....

See you soon!

Genesee Family Arts Night!

These programs are so fun to watch.  These kiddos work so hard as well as the teachers.  Charlie missed out on this program because he was so sick. :( He was okay with it though.  Coop is growing up so fast.  The theme was "Songs, Dances, and Art from Africa."  Enjoy!

 So grown up!

These two are adorable!

Getting ready to perform African dance.

The second graders made Sunset Silhouettes.  Coop's is the middle, the one at his eye level.

 The Kindergarteners made paper necklaces.

Coop is on the far right,  He is smiling at me. :)

Doing the limbo at the sock hop.

Emma and Pierce dancing or rather chasing each other.

Part of their West African dance and then Emma falls out of my lap.

Singing ,"Take Time in Life" a folk song from Liberia.  You will hear Emma say "Cooper funny."  :)  This video was too large to load, so I uploaded it to You tube videos.

Singing, "Tina Singu" a folk song from South Africa

Singing, "Funwa Alafia" a folk song from West Africa

Some Spring fun!

 Charlie reading with Grandma Verla.

 Emma's new bedframe!

A My Girlfriends page find. Ethan Allen $40! Love a great deal!

These deer crossed right in front of us as we were headed out to the farm.  Emma loved it!  They got that far before my camera would take a picture. :)

Some Slip n' Slide fun when we had some 80 degree weather.  It is now back to pants weather.

Enjoying watching the kiddos play.

Mother's Day

I had a wonderful Mother's Day!  It was a very busy day.  We started our day with gifts.  I received an apron and card from Cooper and a special edition magazine from Charlie.  They were very sweet gifts.  Nate told said, "Happy Mother's Day" when we woke up. :) We then got ready and headed to church.  We spent the morning with our church family, ate lunch at "The Pantry,"  bought some flowers and veggie plants and then headed home.  The boys then wanted to take me to Hells Gate for the afternoon/evening.  And that is what we did!

Showing Coop how a gold pan works that he got for his birthday.

 The water was ice cold!

We ran into some Genesee friends while there.

Not sure why this is sideways.  It shows up straight in the program. Hmmm...

Nate did bring me flowers the day after. LOL!  Thanks for a wonderful Mother's Day!

Let's play ball!

Our household has been hit by a couple different bugs and let me tell you it has not been fun.  All three kids had the flu bug.  About a week later the fever/chest cold hit.  Charlie got it first and was out of school for three days.  Then Cooper was home a day and is going on his third day of fever.  :( Emma has yet to get this one, but I am sure it is coming.  Coop has missed a couple of baseball games.  He is learning quite a bit in Cal Ripken.  He has been told they are going to start pitching him and he is super nervous.  And then it just happened he got sick.  Here are a few pictures and videos of him playing.

 Warming up.

 Playing third base.

Walked

 Stealing to second base.

Stealing to third base.

And he is safe!  He didn't slide into home, but hopefully will next time.  :)

Practicing pitching.

Just a couple weeks left in the season.  Charlie starts pitching machine next week.  Nate will be coaching his team.
