Our Charlie!!

Charlie has had a busy couple of weeks!  He just finished up his soccer season and did very well.  He has learned so much and runs the whole time.  He has learned to get in there and go after the ball.  He had a great time!  Now onto T-ball.  :)

 Team huddle

Go Tigers!

Snacks are the best part!

Teamwork!

Both sets of grandparents came up to visit right around Charlie's 5th birthday.  We can't believe he is 5!  He is such a blessing in our lives!  We celebrated with the Owen side before Nate's dad had to fly home for conferences.  Then we celebrated with Megan's side.  Charlie actually caught a flu bug the day before he was going to celebrate with his preschool friends.  He took his special football cake pops to school on Friday.  Carly and Megan spent hours on them. :)

Thank you Nanni and Boppi Owen!

The best dessert from the Pantry! Charlie got to go out to breakfast with just dad and Boppi before school. He got a free meal for his birthday and this amazing cake!

 Emma likes his gift too!

 Grandma Verla and Charlie!

 Birthday morning!

Boppi Brad and Emma hanging out!

Charlie wanted to go out for Mexican! Yum!

Nanni Owen, Grandma Verla, Nanni Vicki, and Boppi Brad were here to watch Charlie's preschool graduation.  Charlie attended an amazing preschool with the best teachers!  He learned so much and had a great year!  Now it is onto summer and Kindergarten in the fall!

They say some really cute songs!  Here is one of them!

He is gonna miss his friends!

Thankful grandma Verla could make it to his graduation ceremony.

He was so nervous!

We love you Charlie!

Mother's Day!

I had a wonderful Mother's Day!  We woke up bright and early and went to church and Sunday School.  It was a lovely service.  My family took me out to brunch at Old European.  YUM!  We enjoyed the lovely weather!  After Emma's nap we went over to Stutzman's for the evening.

Mother's Day Planter boxes that the kids made at Home Depot Day this month.

 Gifts from the family.

We found some beautiful flowers in Pullman and thought it was a great spot for a picture.

 Water fun!

 Happy Mother's Day!

 Yum!

Our first baby is already 7! Where has the time gone! Cooper is such a blessing! He is so hard working, enjoys playing sports with soccer being his favorite, and doing well in school. And yes, he has got attitude lately, but we are trying to work through that. :) We love this little guy to death! Happy 7th Birthday to Cooper!

We had a lot of fun celebrating!  Charlie was supposed to have his 1st soccer game, which ended up getting rained out.  Cooper wanted to go out to Applebee's for dinner and that is what we did.  We stayed up till 10pm.  The foosball games began after Emma went to bed. :)

And Cooper had a birthday get together with all of  his friends at the park!

Family Arts Night!!

Tonight was family art night for Cooper!  And our first time Nate and I had to separate.  Nate took Charlie to his soccer game and then came to the end of the art night.  Cooper did very well.  He was super tired and actually had fallen asleep after dropping Charlie off until we got up to the school.

Wake up Cooper!  It is time for your performance!  He wasn't too happy.

Listening to the GES Group sing!

He finally looked at me! :)

Cooper's dancing partner was Rory! They had fun!

Cooper standing under the kite he made.  The theme for the evening was Mexican Culture.  His art was displayed, they sang a couple songs, and taught us a couple of dances.

And the sock hop dance......

Cooper was so shy, but he did participate in the limbo.

And Charlie got asked to dance with two different girls!  He loved it!

Emma danced a little with dad!
