Family Vacation

We decided it was time for a Disneyland trip.  We spent one full day at Disneyland, one full day at California Adventure and then went to both parks on the last day.  Thursday and Friday the lines were fantastic.  We hardly had to wait and got on a lot of the rides very quickly.  However, Saturday was very busy.  We used a lot of the fast track passes.  There were 8K people there to run a 1/2 marathon the day we were leaving.  The weather was absolutely fabulous.  The boys went on all the big rides. They loved them!  Well not so much Tower of Terror.  They said they wouldn't go back on that one again.  Oh the look on their faces as we were dropping.  They were scared to death.  They walked all three days. We only got a stroller for Emma.  We went about 12 hrs everyday.  We ended each day going in the pool and hot tub.  We saw Aladdin in the Theatre, a disney show (Mickey Mouse Clubhouse), a color of wonder show, fireworks, parades, went to a character dinner, and Charlie participated in one with the Incredibles.  What a fun time we had! The weather was fabulous.  It was in the mid 80's.  Thanks Nanni Jean for coming with us.  And to Mom and Shelia for watching Yeags as well as Tamra and The Druffels.  We really appreciate it!

There were just took many pictures to put on here.  Here is a link to all the pictures:

....and a few videos

The catepillar ride.  This one was fun because you smelled different smells as you went along.

Charlie got to participate with in a little show with the incredibles.

I can't get any of the other videos to load. Something about this new camera.

Coop playing basketball

Coop has learned so much in just the first three weeks of basketball.  They pretty much just jump into and learn as they go.  He loves it!

The Fountain Flying Team

Coop dribbling down the court and passing the ball.

I think Coop is one of the only kids that tucks his shirt in.  :) He is really into that right now.

Ice Sledding

More sledding pictures and some videos.  We have huge snowflakes falling right now with 4.7 inches of snow on the way.  Wonder what tomorrow will bring.  Charlie had all last week off.  It has been fun, but he needs to go to school.  :)

Snow Storm!

We have sooo much snow!  I went out and measured with our ruler and we have 8 inches so far.  Charlie's school was canceled today, but Coop still had to go.  I hope they can get the kids home.  Nate made it to work, but Stadium Way is now closed. So much fun!  I have gotten three workouts shoveling today.  We just went to do a little sledding.  Emma cried going out, but she did not want to come back in. She loved it!

Charlie tried really hard to pull Emma, but he just couldn't in all this snow.

Charlie and Yeags.  Dad's hunting hat is a little too big.

Silly boy.  He thought this was fun!

Trying the slide out.  Didn't work real well.
 Photo from early this morning.

And Boise is getting lots of snow too!  Here is Brooklyn playing in the snow!

......and after all of this snow, school was canceled the next day.  They also closed WSU so Nate got the day off.

Hard working boys!

Sledding

We have a couple of warn out boys this evening.  Cooper was so excited to be home from school so he could go out and enjoy some of this snow.  He was so worried it was going to melt while he was gone.  These boys went sledding from 3:30 until about 6.  Mom brought home some warm pizza for dinner after sledding.  Cooper pushed Charlie around, dad pushed both of them and then they got to go to the sledding hill in Genesee.  So much fun!  Sledding with Walt and friends from school.  8.9 inches of snow on the way.  Maybe we will get a snow day this week.

Quick trip to the dentist!

They did fabulous!

Trip home

We drove home the day after Christmas to spend some time with family.  We spent a few nights at Megan's parents house and then a few nights at Nate's parents.  We had family gatherings, ate a lot of food, went bowling, went to jumptime, for walks and just hung out.   A bug decided to infect our family right after we got home.  Emma was first to get the pukes about 3 hrs after getting home, Nate got hit with a cold and fever Sunday (and ended up calling in sick the next day after a week off), followed by Charlie a couple days after getting the flu and then Cooper. No fun!  Glad everyone is feeling better.  It has been nice getting back into the routine of things again.  Basketball has started for Coop and he is enjoying playing.  Looking forward to our trip to Disneyland at the end of the month.

Here's my daddy.  :) Trying out our new camer.  Love ya dad!

And my beautiful mom.  She is gonna kill me. :)

Emma reading stories with Nanni Owen.

And a few photos from jumptime.  The kids had a blast!  Maybe this is where they picked up the flu bug. Very likely!

 Going up

 and immediately turing around. :)

Nate's face tells it all.  LOL!  He got a huge wedgie.

She had to be pushed down.  She enjoyed hanging out at the top.

Trying to get all the germs off.

A little dress up fun at Nanni and Boppi Stallings.
