December has arrived!

This family loves December.  We learn love learning about the advent season everyday.  Today the kids made Noah's arc boats that float in the sink.  We love learning about God and his Love for us.  Happy Advent to you all!

This weekend has been a lot of fun.  Yesterday we took the kids to Home Depot day.  Emma got to join in on the fun of making a snowman napkin holder.  She was so proud.  She helped me turn the screwdriver, painted her snowman and put on the stickers.  The apron barely fit her. After we completed our projects, we went to pick out a Christmas tree.  The smell of a tree is wonderful in the house.  We finished the evening off by going to the Guatemala talent show and auction at Concordia Lutheran Church.  It was to help support all those going on the next mission trip in March.  Coop and Charlie hoola hooped.  It was hilarious.  They did a great job and were shy, but overcame their shyness with all the cheering.  Nate played a song on the banjo.

So excited!

 She loved painting!

And watching everyone else work.

Emma was so proud!  They all had a great time!  Cooper can do most of these projects himself now.

Cooper helped us put on the lights.  He liked to get on the chair and put decorations up higher than his reach.  Charlie loves decorating the bottom left corner of the tree.  As you can see the right side near the bottom is a little bare.  :)  Emma loves Tigger, Pooh, Rabbit, etc.  She brings them to us often.

Today we worshiped, the kids practiced for the Christmas program that is next weekend.  Cooper will be a king and Charlie will be a leopard.  Nanni Vicki is almost here.  We are so happy she is coming to visit.  Tomorrow is Cooper's Christmas Program.  Love the season.

We hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
