Single parent for the weekend

Nate took a little weekend trip to Las Vegas with my brother and a couple of my cousins.  This is his first time going.  Sounds like they are having a great time.  They ate here last night:

Beautiful! Very jealous.  They went to a piano bar and then played some blackjack.  Nate lost even more. LOL!  Today he walked through Ceaser's Palace and said it was like a DIsneyland for adults.  Water shows, animated characters and designed buildings.  Hope he enjoys the rest of the trip.  As for me I am hanging in there. Watched Coop play basketball yesterday.  He is doing well.  Made a basket, doing well guarding and stealing the ball.  One more game to go.  All the kids took naps for me after lunch. YAY! We had nerf gun wars, baths, ate popcorn and watched a movie.  Today everyone was up bright and early.  We made it to church at 8am and sunday school.  After we got home the kids were all singing, "Go now in Peace, go now in Peace, may the love of God surround you, everywhere, everywhere you may go."  I loved hearing them sing that.

Today is Scout Sunday.  We celebrate the 102nd Anniversary of Scouting.  Scouts were asked to wear their uniforms to church.  Coop was asked all about his shirt and even asked to give the oath at church to some members.  After we got home we got ready to go help serve fellowship at the Community Church in town.  Our pack helped serve fellowship as our way of giving thanks for their support.

We can't wait to see our daddy late tomorrow night.

Saying hello to dad through the phone! The sun was shining right in their eyes.
